The meaning is derived from its first 3 verses. (Translation of the first verses)
“Ya Sin. The Quran, full of wisdom, You are indeed one of the messengers, On a Straight Way.”

Verse 17

“And our duty is only to deliver the clear message.”
Verse 24
إِنِّي إِذًا لَّفِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ
“Indeed, I would then be in clear error.”
Verse 47
إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ
“You are only in clear error.”
Verse 69
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ وَقُرْآنٌ مُّبِينٌ
“It is but a reminder and a clear Qur’an.”
How to Read Surah Yaseen
Prepare Yourself
- Make wudu (ablution) to be in a state of purity.
- Sit in a clean, quiet place, facing the Qiblah if possible.
- Have a physical Mushaf (Quran) or use a trusted app/website.
- Begin with the intention in your heart (niyyah) to read sincerely for Allah.
Start with Bismillah
- Say: بِسْمِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
